PET Bottle Manufacturing: The ReadyPack Process
ReadyPack manufactures PET bottles through a two-stage process. First, injection moulding produces the PET preform, a thick-walled tube of PET resin. The preform is then stretch blow-moulded into the final bottle shape, with the bottle’s dimensions determined by the mould used. This process allows us to produce bottles with consistent wall thickness, high clarity, and dimensional accuracy across every batch.
For water brands and beverage manufacturers who operate their own blow moulding machines, we supply the preforms rather than finished bottles, which is typically more economical at high volumes. For brands without in-house blow moulding, we supply finished bottles ready for filling and capping. Both options are available from ReadyPack’s Rawat, Islamabad factory.
Pure Quality and Mix Quality PET Bottles
Every PET bottle line in the ReadyPack catalogue is offered in two grades. Pure Quality bottles are made from 100% virgin resin and are the right choice for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and premium water products. Mix Quality bottles use a blended or recycled resin and suit cost-sensitive, high-volume water lines. - Size and fill volume: choose the bottle capacity that leaves correct headspace for your filling process.
- Neck finish: match the neck to your cap and seal. Our pharma and nutraceutical bottles use a 25mm neck, and water bottles use a 30mm PCO 1810 neck.
- Colour: clear or blue for water, amber for light-sensitive medicines, milky white for opacity.
- Grade: specify Pure or Mix Quality according to your product and your quality team’s requirements.
- Trial order: test samples on your own filling and capping line before placing a bulk order.
